The KB-series ball heads are made from power-coated paint and melted aluminum chips baked onto die cast aluminum. If offers three operation knobs. The large knob locks the ball head in place, the smaller knob provide drag adjustment.
An additional smaller knob located at the base of the head, locks the independent plan movement. Using both the main locking knobs and the drag adjustment knob it is possible to set the desired drag and locking action for different cameras.
Universal Quick-Release System
The Benro Universal Quick-Release System is designed to the same specifications as the Arca-Swiss system, and is also compatible with Kirk Enterprise and similarly designed quick-release systems.
Locking and Drag Control
Separate lock and drag adjustment knobs help to avoid confusion when working fast. Drag tension can be easily adjusted based on the size and weight distribution of the camera system being used.
360-degree Panning
Accurate panoramas can be easily orchestrated using the graduated panning scale. Once positioned, the camera can be securely locked into place for accurate image alignment.
Patented Quick-Release Safety Lock
A spring-loaded lock pin prevents the accidental release of the camera even when the main lock is loosened. The camera cannot be unseated before both lock mechanisms are released.
