The ability to use your smartphone as a remote for your DSLR can come in handy in a lot of situations. But if you don’t have a DSLR with built-in wireless, or you want more control than the typical remote app will offer, the Weye Feye may be the solution for you.
The Weye Feye is a wireless add-on that gets most Canon and Nikon DSLRs to play nice with both iOS and Android devices. On the camera end, you simply connect the Weye Feye itself using a USB cable and turn it on. Once it’s on, it’ll transmit the live view straight to your phone via the accompanying iOS or Android app, allowing you to control most of the major camera settings at the same time.
ISO, aperture, shutter speed, white balance and more can all be adjusted remotely, as you trigger your camera from up to 262ft (80 meters) away.
